Heartbeat For Hope, INC is a Black-owned, female-led nonprofit in Las Vegas, with outreach to St. Louis, walking alongside formerly incarcerated individuals and veterans. We connect people to housing support, reentry guidance, job training, mental health counseling, and advocacy, so each person can move from crisis toward stability, healing, and a real second chance rooted in dignity.
This project was born from our founder's deepest losses - after losing his son and the sacred moment he was handed his father’s final heartbeat. He chose to turn that pain into purpose, standing with formerly incarcerated individuals, disabled veterans, and their families as they heal, secure housing, pursue work, and reclaim dignity, one steady heartbeat at a time.

Transitional Housing Support
Secure short-term, stable housing after release, with support to settle in, plan next steps, and rebuild.

Peer Mentoring Programs
Walk with a mentor who understands reentry, builds your confidence, shares tools, and stays in your corner.

Advocacy & Life-Skills
Gain a steady advocate, learn everyday life skills, navigate systems with guidance, and strengthen your voice and choices.
Every journey begins with a simple reach out, then we listen. Together we look at housing, work, mental health, and benefits, and build a realistic support plan. Counseling, mentorship, job coaching, and advocacy then move in rhythm with your goals, not a strict checklist. We walk beside you, check in often, and adjust as life changes, so progress feels steady and you never feel alone. Start your path today.
